Within our congregation there are opportunities for spiritual growth, personal growth, and social interaction. For more information, who to contact for specific activities, or to suggest other programs, please contact the Office Administrator at 392-6454 or office-at-uufwilmington.org.
YOUTH RELIGIOUS EDUCATION - Our Religious Education department is made up of one part time Director, volunteer teachers for each unit, and the RE committee. Classes meet from 9:30 to 10:30 most Sundays, and at least once a month meets with the entire congregation for a partial or entire intergenerational service. During the summer, classes meet from 10:30 to 11:30, during the service. Visitors are welcomed in the RE classes.
ADULT RELIGIOUS EDUCATION - Educational Programs for Adults, including the Sunday Morning Adult Religious Topic Sessions (SMARTS) and other Special Programs.
CHOIR - Choral performances are usually scheduled on the first Sunday of the month. Choir practice is at 7:00pm on Wednesdays.
ROMEOS - Retired Old Men Eating Out (a Men's Support and Social Group).
FULL MOON WOMAN'S CIRCLE - Our WomanCircle is an open, on-going support group that celebrates the cycles of our lives in nature-honoring rituals as we move around the Wheel of the Year. We are lay-led and meet in members' homes on a rotating basis. New members welcomed !
COFFEEHOUSES -
FEEDING THE HUNGRY - Food is collected at our Fellowship on the second Sunday of each month, then distributed through Mother Hubbard's Cupboard or the Migrant Worker families of the English as a Second Language students we support. We also help at the Soup Kitchen from 9:30 to 12:30 on the second Saturday of each month.
