The Caring Committee acts in concert with the minister to provide support, care and assistance to UUFW members experiencing illness, crisis, isolation or disability. These needs are communicated to the congregation when appropriate.
The committee meets on the second Thursday of every month at 5:45 in the Fellowship library. There is a rotating chair each month whose name is published in the Beacon as well as in the weekly order of service.
The Caring Committee welcomes new members. Assistance is also requested from non-members in providing the following to others in the Fellowship:
To offer assistance, a sign up sheet is located on the bulletin board in Dobkin Hall, or contact a Caring Committee member at caring-at-uufwilmington.org.
Life Crisis Information
Life Crisis forms were revised in August 2005. To make your wishes known to the minister in event of an emergency, a completed form should be kept in the locked file in the Fellowship office. Fill in and submit the form online, or download a copy (PDF) to be turned into the office.
