Membership Committee

Membership Committee Mission:

The Membership Committee encourages the transition of visitors from newcomers to members and helps to integrate those new members into the life of the congregation.

What we do:

Recruit and coordinate the Sunday Greeters.
Staff the Visitor’s Table in the foyer and provide information packets to first-time visitors.
Provide Welcome Letters and the Fellowship Newsletter (The Beacon) to those visitors who sign the Visitor’s Book.
Provide Gold name tags for visitors who attend several times.
Coordinate UU and You classes several times per year.
Provide Second Sunday Soup (SSS) on the second Sunday of the month from October through April.
Coordinate New Members Recognition during Sunday services three times each year.
Host a Sunday brunch for new members.
Coordinate Fellowship Picture Directory and text Directory updates.
Maintain the Membership Committee Bulletin Board.
Present the New Member Pix and Bios and conduct the New Member Survey.
