What to Expect When Visiting UUFW

What goes on during worship services?
Welcome and announcements, meditation, sharing of personal joys and concerns, singing of hymns, a sermon, a money collection, and a closing.

Are bisexual, gay and lesbian people welcome in this congregation?
Yes, we are a welcoming congregation.

What should I and my children wear to this church?
Wear clothes that feel comfortable. We have no required form of dress.

Is there childcare?
Childcare for children under three is provided in our nursery during both services, and older children are supervised on the playground during the second worship service (11:00-12:00).

Is there Sunday school?
During the first worship service (9:30-10:30) there are Religious Education classes for children aged three up through high school. During the summer, Religious Education meets during the service, from 10:00 to 11:00.

If my child doesn't separate well, can my child stay with me?
Yes, if the presence of your child does not disturb the service.

Are ther two Services in the summer?
In July and August there is on service from 10am to 11am. Adult Education will meet at 11:15
